I am searching for details/records of Sava and Peter
(Sava's father). Sava was born in 1866 in Podostrog,
Montenegro but the family and my ancestors were from
Brist, Croatia.
Peter was in the Austro-Hungarian army and moved around
with his job, hence Sava being born in Montenegro. I
am not sure when Peter was born.
NB- Sava joined the consulate service, for the Austro-Hungarian
empire, and married Victoria Azzopardi (born in Malta
in 1872) in Istanbul in 1893. Sava is my great-grandfather;
Peter is my great-great grandfather.
I am interested to find more about the family. About
Sava's siblings. About his father, Peter, and Peter's
family. I would like to be able to draw the family tree,
as far back as I can go.
If you have any information about the Alesich family
in Brist or Croatia, I would be most interested to know!
Thanks a lot for your help |

Andrasic on January 28, 2003
My father Tomo Andrasic came to Australia in the 50's.
He was the only one of his family that came to Australia
from Croatia - his sister Barbara at that time went
to Canada and married. My father came from a family
of 12 - parents Bolto and Cveta Andrasic both deceased.
I have 4 sisters in Australia and maintain contact with
Tomos sister in Canada. I believe 9 families sill live
in Croatia. |
